Drexel University's Gallery of Writing
| Description: |
We at Drexel University use a geometrical symbol, the triangle, to explore the relation between self and world. (It’s also the name of our student newspaper, and an ancient illustration of rhetorical principles.) Our writing, which reflects our diverse student body, sits at numerous points and angles that, in the words of our first President, James MacAlister, “are not considered as separate elements...but as close relations and interdependent.” Read our writings that reflect our interest in art, science, and industry, the “love of the beautiful,” the “power of nature,” the “power of work.” |
Drexel students across the disciplines are invited to submit one piece of writing (written in or out of class) here to the National Gallery of Writing. Curators will read and respond to all submissions by October 15th.
You are eligible to submit one composition (or a link to a composition already posted on the Internet) per gallery. You should not submit the same composition to more than one gallery. When you click "contribute my writing now," you will be prompted for information about your piece and about yourself. You can share this information with readers through the site search engine, or to keep it sheltered from searches. The more information you allow to be public, the more readers for your piece.
Please visit Gallery Guidelines prior to submitting a contribution to the National Gallery of Writing.
