Description:

This gallery highlights writing by UVM students in response to the University of Vermont's Fall 2009 common reading, Tracy Kidder's Mountains Beyond Mountains. Prizes will be awarded for essays in four categories and winners will be specially featured in the gallery. Submissions are due by October 1 to be eligible for prize consideration.

You can submit one work in any one of the contest's four categories (Understanding Mountains Beyond Mountains; Exploring Issues in Mountains Beyond Mountains; Making Connections with Mountains Beyond Mountains; Inspired by Mountains Beyond Mountains).
