Description:	Earth has the best conditions for life. In this International Year of Astronomy we invite writers to think about some aspect of Earth that makes it so special. Read a book about that perspective, and then write about the questions you have about the topic and ways that these questions might be investigated.

The mission of the National Science Teachers Association is to promote excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all.
