Writer’s workshops, rooms, and objects that inspire |
| Description: |
What does your stuff say about you? Here's what's in my office at Bedford: a jar of stuffed olives; a bobble-head lion; a book on Colorstrology; a Turkish evil eye; and a 1950 cookbook on sauces, gravies, and dressings.
And believe it or not, each of those objects says something about how I write! This gallery is a place to have fun describing your own writer's room--so come on in. |
Pick something in your room (or your office or other space that you write in) that represents who you are as a writer--and explain why. Any genre is welcome!
At Bedford/St. Martin’s, we know that what happens in the classroom matters, and that a good class, a good teacher, and good content have the power to change the world—one student, one idea at a time. We are proud to publish across the disciplines of English, History, Communication, Music, and College Success.
You are eligible to submit one composition (or a link to a composition already posted on the Internet) per gallery. You should not submit the same composition to more than one gallery. When you click "contribute my writing now," you will be prompted for information about your piece and about yourself. You can share this information with readers through the site search engine, or to keep it sheltered from searches. The more information you allow to be public, the more readers for your piece.
Please visit Gallery Guidelines prior to submitting a contribution to the National Gallery of Writing.
